You are here… Be kind.

Earth travels about 1.6 million miles (2.6 million km) a day, or 66,627 mph (107,226 km/h). Our galaxy probably contains 100 to 400 billion stars, and is about 100,000 light-years across. That sounds huge, and it is, at least until we start comparing it to other galaxies. Our neighboring Andromeda galaxy, for example, is some 220,000 light-years wide.

So for fuck’s sake, slow down, be less greedy and selfish, and try to be more compassionate and kinder towards others. As Saadi Shirazi once said:

“Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain.”

-Saadi
